Two of my bonsai this year have still not come out of dormancy yet and sprouted leaves. One is a collected yamadori Hawthorn which needed a severe root cut which I don’t think it liked very much. The other is an oak I bought last year from a guy on ebay.
I’ve been away camping for the weekend and I came back to find everthing has sprung into life in my garden. The grass has shot up a few inches in two days and loads of leaves have started appearing on my oak and birch.
Well I got round to purchasing a website called bonsaiart.co.uk
There’s no change to this site for the moment but I aim to move to that site by May 7th. Fairly ambitious I know but I will be working on it every day from now until then and I think it can be done. There will still be daily blogs from this site until that date.
Thanks for your support!
Rain water is the best water for your bonsai.
Just searching the internet I came across this 400 year old pine which has been in training since 1625!
