I have found a website called Woodlands for Sale which sells woods around the UK. It seems like a very interesting prospect and I think the main purpose of it is to get owners that love trees and woodlands to take care of them. Quite a few of the woods for sale have obligations such as taking care of the woods or helping the young trees grow to maturity.
The benefits of owning a woodland seems very interesting but although you can do most things there you cannot build a house. This seems to be one of the only things you can’t do however. The long and the short of it is that you are allowed to stay there either camping or caravaning for 28 days of the year. So thats about a month solid. Quite a bit of time if you think that it’s once a fortnight you are allowed to sleep there, and i’m sure if you went over it by a few days nobody would notice or mind.
A very nice website which you should check out even if you are not thinking of buying a woods, it certainly convinced me!
