Think Before You Snip
It’s very important to think carefully before you cut off a branch! Remember that you can only make this choice once! It may sound a bit stupid but it’s amazing how many times I have cut something off and thought “hang on, maybe it would have been better where it was…”.
If you’re like me you like to make rash decisions and don’t like to think too hard before taking action. I am pretty bad for doing this. I look at a branch and practically think and take action the same time. A habit I’m trying to get into is to look at the tree with the branch on and then cover it up with my hand so I can compare the difference of what it would look like without it. It only takes a second to do and could save you a lot of grief.
